Surah An Naziyat is the 79th chapter of the Holy Quran. The title’s meaning is “Those Who Drag Forth”. It was revealed in Mecca. It has 46 verses and 2 rukus. Surah An Naziyat is located in Juz’ 30.
The Surah begins by describing the angels who swiftly carry out Allah’s commands, charging forward on the Day of Judgment. The Surah highlights the resurrection of the dead and the accountability that will follow. It warns against the arrogance and disbelief of those who reject the concept of the Hereafter and assures believers that their good deeds will be rewarded.
