Surah An Naba

Surah An Naba is the 78th chapter of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the title is “The Tidings” or “The Announcement”. This surah was revealed in Mecca. It has 40 verses and 2 rukus. Surah An Naba is located in Juz’ 30.

Surah An-Naba focuses on the Day of Judgment and the resurrection of the dead. It begins by questioning the disbelievers about their knowledge and understanding of the great news that is to come. The Surah then describes the events that will occur on the Day of Judgment, such as the shaking of the Earth, the mountains being scattered, and the people being divided into groups based on their deeds.

The Surah emphasizes the certainty and inevitability of the Day of Judgment. It highlights the power and authority of Allah as the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. It states that on that day, every individual will be held accountable for their actions and will be rewarded or punished accordingly.
