Surah Nuh is the 71st chapter of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the title is “Noah”. It was revealed in Mecca. It has 28 verses and 2 rukus. Surah Nuh is located in juz’ 29.
This surah is talk about the Prophet Nuh and his people who rejecting all the warning Allah gives them through Prophet Nuh. He continuely spread Allah’s message for 950 years. He dreamed about heavy flood and Allah order him to make a huge ship and put the pairs of all kinds living thing on the earth in that ship to settle the new world.
The lesson of this surah is to have patience and believe in Allah and obey his order.
