Surah Al Isra (Bani-Israel)

Surah Al Isra is the 17th chapter of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the title is “The Night Journey”. It is also known as Surah Bani Israil. The surah was revealed in mecca. It has 111 verses ,12 rukus and 1 sajdah. Surah Al Isra is located in juz’ 15.

This Surah is about the authority of prophets and the night of journey of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H), and the commandment of 5 prayers.
