Surah At Tahrim

Surah At Tahrim is the 66th chapter of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the title is “The Prohibition”. It was revealed in Madinah. It has 12 verses and 1 ruku. Surah  At Tahrim is located in juz’28.

Surah At-Tahrim primarily focuses on the incident involving the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the lessons derived from it. The Surah begins by highlighting the importance of upholding one’s commitments and avoiding actions that may lead to harm or sin.
