Surah Ash Shams

Surah Ash-Shams is the 91st chapter of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the title is “The Sun”. It was revealed in Mecca. It has 15 verses and 1 ruku. Surah Ash-Shams is located in juz’30.

This surah describes the story of the tribe of Thamoud and their negative attitude and arrogance toward the warning of The Prophet and their killing of the she-camel. So their Lord crushed them for their crime and leveled the ground.
