Surah Hud

Surah Hud is the 11th chapter of the Holy Quran. The meaning of the title is “Hud”.It takes its name from the prophet Hud, who was sent to the people of ‘Ad, (a civilization known for their arrogance and transgressions). It was revealed in Mecca. It has 123 verses and 10 rukus. Surah Hud is located in Juz’ 11.

Surah Hud primarily focuses on the importance of faith, the consequences of disbelief, and the stories of previous prophets and their nations. It highlights the necessity of believing in Allah’s oneness, following His guidance and avoiding the destructive path of arrogance and disobedience.
